Mon Valley Alliance Elects Two to Serve on Board

Charleroi, PA, February 19, 2018 – The Mon Valley Alliance (MVA) announced today the election of two additional community leaders to its fifteen-member Board of Directors.

Donna Weckoski and Jeremy Wallace were elected by the current members of the Board and began serving their terms January 1, 2018.


“I am pleased to welcome our new board members and value skills, expertise and business experience that they will bring to this organizations,” said Christopher Whitlatch, CEO of MVA.


Weckoski is the executive director of the Mid Mon Valley Transit Authority. She has been with the Mid Mon Valley Transit Authority for 15 years, prior to becoming executive director, previously holding the position of finance director for 12 years. A life time resident of the Mon Valley, she is an alumni of California University, majoring in accounting.


Wallace is vice president of A C Power Tech, Inc., a Mon Valley based engineering and manufacturing provider of power distribution solutions with emphasis on underground operations. He has over a decade of leadership experience in the aerospace and defense industries, and also runs a consulting and training firm delivering technical services throughout the region.


In addition to the two newly elected members, The MVA board of directors includes John Easoz, John LaCarte, Randy T. Patterson, Michael Thornton, Bob Burke, Tanya Chaney, Bill Lee, Gina C. Lynn, Edward Mendola, Lou Panza, Louis A. Quarto, Mary Stollar and Claudia Williams.
